As
far back as I can remember, dogs have always been a part of my life. A love for
them was instilled in me by my parents, who bred Newfoundlanders and German
Shepherds, achieving great success at shows.
The first dog I could call my own was the German Shepherd
„Anja vom Vogelwäldchen“ . She was given to me when I was ten
years old, and from then on I was completely responsible for her. Feeding,
brushing, grooming and taking her out for walks, were as much a part of my
duties, as were regular visits to dogschool, and showing her at regional dogshows. I derived particular pleasure out of taking care of the pups,
and it was soon clear,
that this was to
be an important part of my life.
In 1973 I registered the kennel name „PENNYLANE“ with the Swiss
Cynological Society (SKG), and since then Cocker
Spaniel, Old English Sheepdog and Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen pups have caught their
first glimpse of the world here. |
With
great understanding for my passion, my husband Dr. med.vet. Urs Müller,
actively participates in the planning and breeding of our pups.
In order to give our pups the best possible start in life, we do our best to
support them in this most important phase of their development, in accordance
with the newest cynological findings.
Every year, Pennylanes extended family comes together under the motto "cosy
get together with food and drink- entertainment for man and dog".
